 |  As industry content experts TCEP is developing a Green Jobs INITIATIVE which will;
- Expand existing training opportunities, empower educators, link industry, create a vehicle for state and federal funding.
- Partner with, and establish connections between, existing training programs to create true career ladders.
- Help support the regional economy, and attract clean tech companies, by creating an expanding source of skilled workers.
- Create a model for other regions.

The focus of TFIC's Green Jobs Initiative (GJI) is the integration of advanced technologies into the built environment. Our efforts are based in the economy of our region and the emerging market for energy conservation services and renewable energy systesm. The Initiative has examined the market using information taken from published sources and our own research to identify needs and opportunities to create green jobs in the near term and identify long-term education and training strategies that will keep pace with business needs as the market evolves.
